The Taiwan Handicraft Promotion Center (THPC) was established in 1956. In alignment with Taiwan’s craft industry development needs, it was registered as a statutory body in 1958 with a donation from the Sino-American Fund with the purpose of promoting Taiwanese handicrafts and cultural and creative products. A non-profit organization established for more than 60 years, it is the largest platform for display and sales of cultural and creative handicrafts in Taiwan.
Located at No. 1, Xuzhou Road, the National Cultural and Creative Gift Center has four floors and boasts around 2,500 square meters of exhibition and sales space, including professional curating space as well as a National Palace Museum, gift, handicraft, jewelry and teaware gift and other special areas; it displays 50,000 products from 500 cooperating suppliers, bringing together well-known cultural and creative handicraft brands from across Taiwan and offering a diversity of products that can satisfy all kinds of gift needs. The Center provides services in various languages, foreign currency exchange and professional concierge reception. Overseas compatriots and foreign friends are invited to visit the Center to view the wide range of excellent cultural and creative products for sale.
